Hi Mom,

How are you? Do you know who am I? Am your little kid. The one inside your womb. Am just 3 weeks old. Don't get surprised mom. Relax yourself. Know what? My hands and legs will develop soon mom. When I come out, I will be looking so good and not a Face only a mother could love. Why are you always crying mom? I can hear people near you are shouting and screaming at you. Why mom? My heart weeps every time you cry. I feel very secured when am inside you. I love you so much mom. I want to come out, go to school and become big. I always want to be near you. I want to see the happiness in your face when you see me. I can hear all the words you speak to me, but whenever I try to console you, you are not able to hear me.

I can hear someone telling you to kill me and rubbing salt into your wounds. No mom, please don't kill me. Dig in your heels, refuse their plans and their views as well. I will be a good kid to you and not a prankster. I can understand that nobody wants you to carry me inside you. Don't listen to them. Tell them that, I will take care of you when I become big. You will adore me when you see me. But am worried about you. You please take care. Ahh.. See mom, someone is coming near you. Mom what's happening here? You are weeping continuously. Ahh.. someone is coming near me as quiet as a mouse holding a big rod like thing in his hands. This monster seems to be dab hand with rods. Am terrified at the sight of this rod. The rod is coming so close to me mom. It has sharp ends. It may hurt you too mom. Mom, please save me mom. Someone is trying to kill me. Mom, save me from that monster. I don't have hands or legs to protect myself. God,you may have other fish to fry, but tell mom that I love her and ask her to save me from this monster. Mom, can't you hear me screaming? Am seeking your help. The dice are loaded against me. Help me please. Mom, that rod is scrapping me and my cells off you. Am bleeding now. It pains a lot mom. I will never get those hands and legs I told you. I won't become big. Above all, I can't see your lovely face. I won't see a new dawn. Ahh.. my bleeding is increasing now. Is it hurting you too? M...o....mmmmmm, Mommmm...Am going to die now. Please don't cry mom. I love you so much mom. Take care of your health. I am signing off before the last breath escapes from me.

The Little Foetus scrapped off your womb.

Stop Abortion! I don't know how many liked this. My heart weighed a ton kilos while writing this post. This is just an insight of the fetus's mentality (Ofcourse which I imagined). The rod the child mentioned is termed as CURETTE, a surgical instrument.

P.S : The topic of this post-Do Svidaniya is a Russian phrase meaning GOODBYE. The fetus/kid is bidding adieu to this world.

TODAY, OCTOBER 12 2009:

Jhanvi looked straightly into his eyes and uttered, "Life doesn't treat everyone likely. We are bound to get hurt and relieved later on. I know how to take care of myself and am not a coward to kill myself. All the best and get on with your life Venkat". Jhanvi uttered these and started walking away from Venkat without expecting a reply from him. A silent tear escaped Venkat's eyes and he stood there looking on her foot steps..

APRIL 17 2009:

"The project starts from tomorrow and all you guys are from Mainframe. So working on the same domain will make your work easier. I expect fullest cooperation from you all". The team leader was proposing to a group of 10 about the new project they were allotted. Everyone was nodding yes except for a single girl among the group. It was Kajal. She was smiling herself and her hands were playing with her dhupatta. Jhanvi noticed Kajal's activities and smiled to herself and murmured 'Ahhhh.. This girl is smitten by cupid'. Jhanvi a year older than Kajal, are colleagues, room mates which has transformed itself into thick bond of friendship.

Kajal felt some chemical reactions inside her from the moment Krishna proposed her. In the beginning she thought it was mere mutual attraction. But after the transfer from Chennai to Banglore, she missed Krishna so much. But it was yesterday that she knew that Krishna got a transfer to Banglore. She was muttering, 'Krishna, had I known before that you love me so much, I would not have made you wait for so many days. Love you Krishna'. Suddenly Kajal got alerted by the shadow nearing her. She lifted her face and saw Jhanvi looking questioningly and winking. Her rose powdered cheeks went red by blushing and she covered her face out of shy. Jhanvi came near her, removed her hands, "Haan, what am I seeing now? This pretty damsel is blushing! Who is that lucky chap?". Kajal was shocked to hear this direct question. She adjusted herself and told, "K...K....Kri....". Jhanvi interrupted her and asked, "What? Kri? Is that a name". Kajal Smiled and shot back, "Naah, listen fully.. His name is Krishna. That's how everyone calls him". Jhanvi replied, "mmmm.. I thought you as a Kido but you are loving someone..good good..". Kajal, for the first time this evening thought of speaking back herself without answering to Kajal. "Ahhhh... You are not only my senior in office but also in love. We are beginners. But you and Venkat are the most experienced". Kajal winked at Jhanvi. Jhanvi could not help blushing on listening to Kajal's words. "Leave it Kajal. Welcome to the bandwagon. Now come, I will brief you about the meeting in Cafeteria. I know Krishna didn't allow you to listen to TL".

JUNE 31 2009:

"Jhanvi, come lets go and have our lunch..", said Kajal. Jhanvi was imbibed into her works so much that mostly she will forget her lunches. After Kajal came into her life, she ate regular food. Also, they made it a habit to speak about the man in their lives during that lunch. Jhanvi and Venkat love each other for more than a year now. Jhanvi never gets time for a movie or a day out with him. Both of them had hectic works. Jhanvi had weekend IMS classes for her upcoming CAT exams and it had been 4 months since they have seen each other. Late night conversations have become their routine. Jhanvi felt a big gap developing between them. She thought,'What Jaanu, don't you know why Venkat came to Banglore? He came just for you.How can you suspect his love?'. Both Kajal and Krishna were busy like the other couple. But the difference was, they made time for each other in their busy schedule. Krishna made it a habit of spending weekends with Kajal. Kajal told everything about Krishna, their love, the way he moves with her, first kiss, first night show, first hug. She never hid anything from Jhanvi. But on the other hand, Jhanvi wished to tell such things to Kajal as well. But nothing was in place for her except for those kisses she receives through phone.

SEPTEMBER 16 2009

Kajal came to office searching for Jhanvi. She finds her near the window gazing at the sky. Kajal approached her and asked "Jaanu yesterday I thought of introducing you to Krishna. He was waiting outside our place. Even I tried reaching your mobile. But I couldn't reach you. Jaanu.. Reply something". She continued, "Jaanu, what happened? Something wrong?". Kajal saw Jhanvi's blood-shot face with bulged eyes. Jhanvi's eyes moistened before she could open her mouth. She bit her lips hardly to control her emotions. But her reflexes were not listening. Blood trickled from the lips out of the pressure from her teeth. She told Kajal, "M...Maa...Mom got admitted in hospital. She had breathing problems last night it seems. Dad informed me. I went to ISCON and by the time I came to our place warden didn't allow me. I went to my uncle's home and came to office soon.". Kajal hugged Jhanvi and told, "Jaanu...Nothing will happen to mom until we all are with you. Come we shall speak with TL". Jhanvi told blankly, "He didn't approve my leave request"

SEPTEMBER 19 2009

Kajal came to Jhanvi's Cubicle and told, "I told my parents about Krishna and they loved him the moment they saw him. We are getting engaged next month. October 5th. It's like a dream coming true. Hey you are our senior and didn't you tell your parents?". Jhanvi replied, "We have to. But these days Venkat don't even have time to speak with me. He got busy. I avoided him the moment when he longed for my company. Once my mom gets well..... will she ever get well?". Kajal couldn't withstand her friend's problems. Jhanvi loved Venkat, but she is a sort of girl who doesn't know how to express her love. She is unlike Kajal. Jhanvi is stiff, adamant, ambitious, courageous, brilliant girl. Though Venkat and Jhanvi loved each other, they didn't spend quality hours for developing it. She got herself busy with office works.

SEPTEMBER 27 2009

"Jaanu, am very happy.. Am getting engaged to the man I loved. You should be dressing me up". Jhanvi smiled wryly and replied, "Without me, how will you get engaged?". Jhanvi picked up her ringing mobile. The moment she picked up the call, her face got drained out of blood and she came down with a thud. Mobile fell out of her hand, Kajal caught it half way and continued the conversation. "H...e..ll..oooo.. Am Kajal, Jhanvi's friend. What happened?". The voice on the other end replied, "Her mom had a cardiac arrest this morning and reached lord's abode". Kajal went numb on hearing that. She went along with Jhanvi and came back to her engagement.

OCTOBER 10 2009

Jhanvi came back to office after attending her mom's final rites. Kajal came forward, hugged her and tried to cheer her up. Jhanvi didn't want to upset her best friend. She made herself look normal and started enquiring about her engagement. Kajal blushed and took out the album from the bag. The first page read,

BETROTHAL OF VENKAT KRISHNA & KAJAL MENON

Jhanvi pointed to the name and raised her eye brows. Kajal promptly replied, "It seems his full name is Venkat Krishna."

The day Venkat proposed Jhanvi he told, "Jaanu, everyone calls me with my Last name. So I want you to call me as Venkat and not as Krishna. You should be differentiated among others".

Jhanvi sensed something wrong and opened the album. The guy who was standing next to Kajal was Her man, the man of her dreams. The one who came behind her, a year before. She felt a lump in her throat and it went dry. She wanted to cry out loud and scream,'Why the hell he betrayed me?'. But Kajal was standing next to her. 'She should be happy at least'. Jhanvi smiled, and gave back the album and wished her.

OCTOBER 11 2009
CONFLICTS OF HEART AND BRAIN:
H : 'I loved my mom so much. She left me half way and left. Then it was Venkat. How much I loved him? Where things went wrong? IMS? It seems he came to Banglore for Kajal and not me. He had been cheating me from the very beginning. How dumb I have been? How can I think of another life?'

B :'Jaanu, you are sounding filmy style. What if this guy ditched you? You are brave. Go, tell him how brave you are and make him understand that he lost a precious jewel'

H : 'But I still love him. Kajal is my best friend and I may happen to see him frequently. I will give away my stubbornness'

B : 'I thought you had an ambition. Think of dad and mom. How much they have toiled to bring you up?'

H : 'But Venkat's betrayal will occupy my mind always. I can't live anymore'

She cried a lot like a child. She decided. She went to sleep expecting a new dawn by hugging her mom's photo.

TODAY, OCTOBER 12 2009:

She met Venkat at ISCON temple and spoke her heart. He listened everything and told, "I couldn't stop loving you Jaanu. I love you both. When you were out of my life citing IMS as reason, I happened to see Kajal and was attracted by her beauty and I started loving....". Jhanvi shouted, "Stop it for God's sake. You are so sick. You cheated me Venkat. How can you Love both of us? Don't do the same to Kajal. She will die that instant.". Venkat feared after hearing the word DEATH. He told, "Am sorry for hurting you Jaanu, don't come to wrong decision. Live your life". Jhanvi stared at him and her face flushed with rage. Venkat thought to himself, 'Wish my mind had not leapt for Kajal. Bravo Jhanvi. She can live without me. But can Kajal?'

IN THE LIGHT

Guru entered the classroom and his eyes rested upon Nandu sitting in the last bench and was staring bleakly at the wall.

"Hi Nandu"
"Hi Guru"
"Hey prepared for science test?"
".............."
"Tell me Nandu"
"No I didn't"
"Why?"
"There was no light"
"Oh my God! Power cut eh?"
"No. Yesterday was new moon day"

This is surely a next-door happening that most of us would have witnessed. Thatched huts's only light in the night - Moon! I have recently seen guys studying in street-lights and moon-lit houses. But when I entered my friends house, the fan and the light was there in a place where people are not around. I thought, "How much this light and fan would have helped those little kids out on the street longing for lights!". If we cannot help the society, lets not hinder them. Save the limited, non-renewable resources.

Life..

It has been a long time since I wrote something about life. Recently I read a story which provoked me to write this article. The story goes like this.

Once a very rich man from America visited a Saint in India, He entered the small abode of this famous saint and saw that there was no furniture in his house. The saint invited him and gave him water to drink.
A bit uncomfortable as he was trying not to offend this great saint he asked,
“You are a great man but where is your furniture?”
The saint replied
“Where is yours?”
The Rich man said “Well I am just a visitor to this place”
The saint replied “Aren’t we all.”

If we look and think deeper about this story, we may understand a beautiful concept about life. After our birth, we live in this world amidst various people showing love, care, affection, hatred to us. We fight so much with fellow human beings for justifying our rights. Everywhere we see feuds for money, power and many more. Terrorism is on the heights and these people (Terrorists) needs to see blood everywhere. Why don't we understand the true concept of life. Mostly clashes and problems arise in a family (mostly joint families) because of the money. Money may/can change the mentality of the spectator and has the power to change his perspective on life. After our death, are we going to take this money for which we fight so much? The answer is a big NO. The only thing which is going to accompany us, after our death is our Karma. Earn good relationships with every fellow human being, that's a great asset, because you can't satisfy many. Once my mom told me, "In life, Its not the number of persons who is with you when you live in this world. Its only the number of people who misses you even after you die and silently shreds a tear in your memory". I never understood the real meaning until I faced a big loss in my life. It changed my perspective. Live your life happily. Achieve something when you live. Always remember, two things in life:

• We have only one life
• We don't bring anything to this world and we don't take anything with us after death

Take a deep breath, relax yourself. Ease all the pressures off your shoulders and approach the life with a big smile on your face and life will treat you in a best way. Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.

Let your dreams come true.
