55 Fiction - #14

Here is my next 55 Fiction.

Those who are new to this concept, understand what is 55Fiction!? 55 Fiction is a form of micro fiction that refers to the works of fiction limited to a maximum of fifty-five words. Most 55 Fiction works are dramatized so as to get the effect in limited time.

THE JOURNEY

Recession, politics, marriage… they talked about everything on the way. His quick wit and sound knowledge took her by surprise. Throughout the journey, they spoke. But it’s his casual charm that struck her the most. As the journey came to an end, he looked deeply into her eyes and said, 'Chutta, de do didiji'

For those who don't know Hindi, the translation for the last part 'Chutta, de do didiji' is Give me the change sissie, as asked by auto drivers Tongue out

Wrote a new genre as I told you all in my last 55Fiction. This is not a tragedy which makes you sigh! Liked it eh?! Should I improve?

With Love,

  4. As humans we have the tendency to judge the intellect of someone from their jobs. It happens with me too. But when they turn out to be different its a very pleasant surprise.

Loved the way you captured this.
